| The Erik Ruby turns 40 extravaganza was Aug 1, 2009. 18 holes
of golf started at 10:30 in the light rain at Phillips Park. The
rain gave way to some sun later in the round and a good time was had by
all 6 groups, with Ruby's group coming out on top with the best score. Later in the afternoon and evening the Lightfoot's hosted the party and bags tournament. 4 sets of boxes were utilized for team play and tournaments. Ray, Jeff, and Petie all signed the box. Then 18 teams of two played tournament style until Ray and Jordan came out on top. A second tournament was held but could not be finished as the Aurora PD halted the fun because of excessive noise. A big thanks to Brent and Cate for hosting. Happy 40th, Ruby. |
